Field Coordinator - URGENT
Time Commitment:
1-2 hours per week; up to 4 before start of season
Description:
Board of Directors position. The field coordinator is intended to be responsible for acquisition and maintenance of all playing fields including practice fields and to supervise the field helpers.

Field Helpers
Time Commitment:
1 hour per week during season
Description:
A Field worker is intended to help mark the fields and to monitor, report and assist with field problems.

Referees - URGENT
Time Commitment:
1-2 hours per week; very flexible schedule
Description:
A referee is intended to manage soccer matches according to the AYSO National Rules and Regulations, the FIFA Laws of the Game and the training curriculum as specified in the AYSO National Referee Program. The referee is expected to cooperate with coaches and other officials to develop a positive self-image in the players and to provide a good role model for all AYSO participants.

Coaches - URGENT
Time Commitment:
2-6 hours per week, as many as 2 practices and 1 game per week
Description:
A coach is intended to develop in players a positive image of themselves, their teammates, coaches, game officials, and opponents, and provide a good role model for players. Additionally, the coach will develop in his/her players the appropriate soccer skills as recommended in the AYSO coaching manuals.

VIP Administrator
Time Commitment:
2-4 hours per week; more during start of season
Description:
Board of Directors position. We can't have a VIP program without filling this position! The AYSO volunteer position of VIP (Very Important Player) Program Administrator in a Region is intended to serve as a liaison among the Regional Commissioner, the VIP volunteers and the parents or guardians of players eligible to play in the VIP Program for players with physical and/or mental disabilities.
